Mesh Security Inc., a startup focused on Cybersecurity Mesh Architecture, has announced a $12 million early-stage funding round. The capital will be used to enhance its autonomous capabilities, expand its attack path analysis, and enable system-level remediation, while also scaling sales and customer support to meet growing enterprise demand, as reported by Silicon Angle.
Founded in 2022, Mesh Security offers a platform designed to unify disparate security tools into a single, adaptive defense system. Enterprises often struggle with security tools operating in silos, leading to gaps in visibility and control. Mesh's solution integrates with existing infrastructure, using an identity-first, data-graph-based engine to map relationships across various IT environments.
This approach aims to automate security posture hardening, threat detection, investigation, and response, allowing security teams to proactively reduce enterprise-wide exposure. The platform is already being used in production environments and collaborates with security providers like SentinelOne.
