Major U.S. global security, defense, and aerospace contractor Lockheed Martin reportedly had 375 TB of data stolen by pro-Iran hacktivist collective APT Iran, according to Cybersecurity Dive.
APT Iran which previously took responsibility for attacks against Jordan's critical infrastructure was noted by Flashpoint to have claimed stealing F-35 aircraft blueprint copies and other corporate files in posts on the Telegram messaging app.
Moreover, Lockheed Martin was reported by Halcyon to have been sought to pay a ransom exceeding $400 million to prevent the sale of sensitive data to U.S. adversaries. Such claims have been acknowledged by Lockheed Martin.
"We are aware of the reports and have policies and procedures in place to mitigate cyber threats to our business. We remain confident in the integrity of our robust, multilayered information systems and data security," said a Lockheed Martin spokesperson in an email.
