Juniper Networks announces full-stack SASE capability, other security features

Juniper Networks said its security service edge portfolio now includes cloud access security broker and data loss prevention capabilities, giving it the full complement of components required for its secure access service edge portfolio to be considered a full-stack solution, according to SDxCentral. Were the industrys first and only full-stack SASE solution that allows the customer to leverage what they have today, extending that to the cloud and giving them more visibility and insight to whatever it is they need to secure, said Samantha Madrid, Juniper Networks group vice president of security business and strategy.The new capabilities join Junipers existing array of SASE security tools such as SD-WAN, zero-trust network access, secure web gateway and firewall-as-a-service, which grant the ability to encrypt and decrypt data at scale and at line speed while enabling continuous risk monitoring. The company says the new CASB and DLP capabilities allow its users to identify validated users with access to its data located in the cloud, set identity-based micro-perimeters around users, software-as-a-service applications and the data inside them and block non-validated users from gaining access.
