The FBI has made room on its Cyber Most Wanted list for five criminals whose alleged roles in global hacking and fraud crimes impacted hundreds of thousands of victims and led to tens of millions of dollars in losses.
Added are Pakistani nationals Farhan Ul Arshad and Noor Aziz Uddin, Syrian national Andrey Nabilevich Taame, Russian national Alexsey Belan, and Carlos Enrique Perez-Melara of El Salvador. The FBI is offering a reward of $50,000 to $100,000 for information leading to their arrests.
For years, the suspects, who are believed to be residing outside of the United States, used malware and spyware and gained unauthorized access to phone and computer systems in order to commit their crimes.
