SiliconANGLE reports that CrowdStrike Holdings has added new cloud security and data protection features to its Falcon Cloud Security platform.

The platform’s new capabilities are designed to support enterprises in safeguarding complex, AI-driven environments, and are in response to a security environment marked by uncertainty and greater volatility. These aim to help companies prioritize cloud risks by attacker behavior and protect sensitive data across cloud platforms, endpoints, generative AI tools, and software services.

CrowdStrike added Application Explorer – which provides users with integrated visibility across applications and the supporting cloud systems – and a new Cloud Risk Engine that links cloud exposures to adversary tactics. The Falcon Cloud Security platform also unveils the Falcon Data Security service that secures agentic enterprises, as well as generative AI data protection that can help mitigate accidental data exposure and prevent data leakage, and runtime cloud data visibility that provides real-time insight into the access and movement of sensitive data.
