CrowdStrike, Kroll form major MDR security alliance 

Cyber Daily reports that CrowdStrike and Kroll have formed a major strategic alliance, centered on Kroll migrating protection for more than half a million endpoints to the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon platform.  

This consolidation aims to replace multiple legacy security tools with a unified system designed to accelerate threat detection, investigation, and remediation. According to Tom Etheridge, CrowdStrike's Chief Global Services Officer, the collaboration marks a "defining moment for the MDR market," signaling an industry shift toward integrating elite human expertise with advanced AI technology for full-cycle protection.

Kroll's global cyber lead, David Burg, stated the partnership ensures his teams can combat sophisticated threat actors with "state-of-the-art cyber technology," enhancing their mission to protect client data and assets. The announcement coincides with CrowdStrike receiving multiple AWS Partner of the Year awards, including the global security and marketplace titles.

Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike's Chief Business Officer, emphasized the significance of Amazon itself using CrowdStrike to secure its infrastructure, calling it the "ultimate proof point" of the platform's effectiveness in defending critical cloud environments.
