Arctic Wolf acquires Sevco Security to enhance exposure assessment

Arctic Wolf announced its acquisition of exposure assessment startup Sevco Security. This move aims to bolster Arctic Wolf's capabilities in providing comprehensive visibility and risk assessment across an organization's attack surface, Silicon Angle reports.

Sevco Security's platform addresses the challenge of managing modern IT environments by unifying data from disparate sources, including on-premises networks, cloud services, and mobile devices. It integrates with existing security tools via APIs to aggregate inventory and vulnerability metadata without requiring agent installations. Key features include discovery of attack surface components, normalization and prioritization of vulnerabilities using technical severity, exploitability signals, business context, and threat intelligence, and support for remediation workflows.

Arctic Wolf plans to integrate Sevco's technology into its Aurora Platform to enhance asset intelligence and security control coverage.
