Officials at the Los Angeles Unified School District, which is the U.S.'s second-largest public school district, have announced an ongoing investigation into a breach claimed by a threat actor to have resulted in the compromise of more than 11 GB of data being sold for $1,000 on a hacking forum, according to BleepingComputer.

Colorado-based optometric and ophthalmic management services provider Panorama Eyecare had information from 377,911 current and former patients and employees compromised following a cyberattack last year claimed by the LockBit ransomware operation, which purported the theft of nearly 800 GB of data, reports The Record, a news site by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future.

Hackread reports U.S. ticket sales and distribution firm Ticketmaster has been confirmed by its parent firm Live Nation Entertainment to have been subjected to a data breach days after ShinyHunters commenced the sale of data from 560 million users allegedly stolen from the company's systems.

U.S. cloud storage firm Snowflake has repudiated a now-removed Hudson Rock report linking the service provider to the attacks against Ticketmaster and Santander Bank, which the ShinyHunters threat operation claimed to have resulted in the collective compromise of data from nearly 600 million individuals, according to The Record, a news site by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future.

UK public service broadcaster BBC had information from nearly 25,290 current and former employees exfiltrated following a data breach of its occupational pension scheme, which is one of the largest across the country, according to The Guardian.

U.S. ticket sales and distribution firm Ticketmaster was admitted to have been hacked by the ShinyHunters threat operation, which claimed to exfiltrate information from 560 million users part of a 1.3 TB database, according to Hackread.
