WINNERS FOR THE 2026 SC AWARDS – RESILIENT CISO CATEGORY HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

The Resilient CISO category—presented by SC Media and CyberRisk Alliance, sponsored by Absolute Security—recognizes five security leaders whose vision, adaptability, and leadership help organizations thrive amid disruption. These honorees champion a proactive, business-aligned approach to risk, uniting people, processes, and technology to minimize harm and ensure operational continuity.

Judged by members of the CyberRisk Collaborative (CRC) CISO community, the Resilient CISO category celebrates CISOs who treat resilience as both a mindset and a measurable practice. Five honorees will be recognized live during the SC Awards reception at RSAC Conference 2026.

The SC Awards Resilient CISO category nominations are reviewed by a judging committee drawn from the CyberRisk Collaborative (CRC) community. Our rigorous, transparent judging process ensures that every entry is evaluated fairly, giving each nominee the recognition they deserve.

The SC Awards are cybersecurity’s most prestigious award program, recognizing and honoring outstanding innovations, organizations, and leaders that are advancing the practice of information security. Our mission is to highlight the outstanding achievements of individuals, teams, and organizations, and unveil their success stories to our ecosystem of 1.2 Million cybersecurity professionals.

The Resilient CISO category of the SC Awards is open to CISOs from information security vendors, service providers and professionals with current operations in North America (U.S. and Canada).

There is no fee to submit a nomination to the Resilient CISO category in the 2026 SC Awards.

Nominations for the Resilient CISO category are reviewed by a judging committee drawn from the CRC community. Judges assess leadership impact (board and peer influence), continuity and recovery outcomes, team and culture development, end-user/customer awareness, contributions to the wider ecosystem, and concrete resilience initiatives (e.g., continuous red-teaming, chaos engineering, supply-chain risk practices).

Being a finalist or winner in the SC Awards provides valuable marketing and promotional opportunities. SC Award coverage will be featured across SC Media’s website, media channels and in e-newsletters to amplify your organization. Coverage includes profiles of finalists and winners across all categories, deep-dive articles highlighting the accomplishments of this year’s winning people, companies, and solutions, as well as a series of Winner’s Circle video roundtables: Candid on-camera conversations between the SC Media editorial team and SC Award recipients.
