With this product, users not only can encrypt a whole disk, but also can take advantage of many other features, such as PGP Virtual Disk, which creates a virtual encrypted volume; PGP Zip, which allows for creation of self-decrypting Zip packages; and preboot authentication, which allows users to assign a password to the machine at boot, which ensures greater security.
The installation is quite straightforward, started by launching the installer on the machine and running through an installation wizard. After the installation wizard is complete, all management is done through the installed application. We found management to be easy and intuitive via the well-organized management application.
