After reading the documentationit takes just a few quick configurationsteps and the IPS isready to go. We found the webinterface slightly difficult tonavigate at first, but it becamemore intuitive with practice.
This device prevented mostscanner attacks against our targetnetwork and provided easy-to-read,real-time logs on network activity.However, we could bypass the IPSwhen we tested with Core Impact,but we note that the product isaimed at datacentre markets andhas limited client signatures.

The only thing we would haveliked to see was a guide to the webinterface and how to use it,because the interface was a littleconfusing and we had to learnhow to use it best through trialand error.

There is also theoption to register with Lucid andget many other support features,but we could not discover whetherthere was an extra fee or cost formore support. This lack ofinformation we regarded ascounterproductive for the user.
