People on the move: Appointment at Fix City

Global software provider Fix City has made two new UK appointments. Sales manager Matthew Barkway has been promoted to director of sales and will join Fix City's co-founders, Paul Scott, Amy Muddimer and Karl Breeze, on the board of directors. Barkway previously worked for Nexa Technologies, Autex and GL Trade. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading new business negations and overseeing the UK sales teams.

Kate Roberts has joined the company as account manager from Omgeo,where she was global relationship manager. She has also worked forbanking group ABN AMRO, as client connectivity manager. As accountmanager, Roberts will focus on reinforcing relationships with ioinet'sbuy-and sell-side clients.

Both of these appointments follow a significant growth in the number ofbuy-and sell-side firms using ioinet, Fix City's web-based indicationof interest distribution solution.
