Kaspersky updates 12 times a day

Anti-virus firm Kaspersky Labs is to release spam updates 12 times a day.

Kaspersky Labs' efforts to provide protection against the latest spam mean the solution is unique on both the Russian and international markets, a spokesperson for the company said.

The company estimates in 2002 the world economy lost approximately $15 billion as a result of spam.
