Google has a unique perspective on web security. No other entity has access to the sheer number of search terms that it does. And the fact alone that a company as powerful as Google is taking an interest in web security should be reassuring to administrators and surfers alike.
More good news: Reports you may have read stating that 10 percent of all websites are malicious are dead wrong. The real number is considerably less than that, but make no mistake, there is not shortage of malicious websites out there.
