‘Crackas With Attitude’ member sentenced to in prison for government attacks

Justin G. Liverman, aka “D3F4ULT” of the “Crackas With Attitude” cybergang was sentenced to five years in prison after admitting to his involvement in the group that gained unauthorized access to online accounts to intimidate and harass U.S. officials and their families.

Liverman, age 25, pleaded guilty on January 6, for his role in braking into the accounts of and harassing the CIA director and national intelligence directors, among others in 2015, according to the DOJ press release.

Other victims were involved yet were not named in court documents. Liverman was also responsible for sending threatening text messages to his victims', cellphone, and paid for a “phonebombing” service to call the victim repeatedly with a threatening message.

Last year, Liverman was arrested along with Andrew Otto Boggs, aka “INCURSIO,” who June 30 was sentenced to two years in prison for his involvement in the gang.

Other members of the cybergang were captured in the in the United Kingdom where they are also being prosecuted.
