CompTIA gives grant to Creating Futures program

The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Educational Foundation has awarded an up-to-$1 million matching grant to its Creating Futures program. The initiative offers career opportunities to groups of people who are unrepresented in the IT workforce, including veterans, disabled individuals, at-risk youth and dislocated workers. The CompTIA board of directors will match each dollar, up to $1 million, raised in 2008.
