Outsourcing firm Capgemini is implementing an encryption and access control solution for its corporate and mobile data network.
The solution encrypts hard disks and controls access to LAN devices and laptops.
The firm also bought a separate solution to secure access to selected files.
"With consultants throughout the UK, at both client sites and our own, mobile security has always been a key focus for us," said Nick Naylor, a security consultant at Capgemini. "We ensure that we use the best solutions available; which in turn enables us to provide confidentiality and integrity assurances for all of our customers."
Capgemini employs 55,000 people and reported 2003 global revenues of €5.754 billion.
Utimaco Software provided the solution.
