SCA awarded federal grant

The U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration has awarded $288,000 to the Smart Card Alliance (SCA) to expand the market for smartcards in Latin America. The project includes adding an SCA Latin American chapter and linking U.S. smartcard firms with government and Latin American business representatives.
