Cupertino, California-based Barracuda Networks is expanding its market reach into China and other regions of Asia after receiving a license from China's Ministry of Public Security to sell its anti-spam firewall products. The company obtained the license in September after passing a series of tests and officially launched its product line in China in October. As well as opening an office in Shanghai, the vendor signed on several large distributors in Asia, including Beijing In-GreatTechnology, Gateway Computer Resources in Hong Kong, and Trans-Innovation in Malaysia.
