These attacks continue to grow more sophisticated, from obtaining legitimate OAuth grants to abusing AI agents with over-accumulated permissions, and now through adversarial candidates entering the enterprise through the hiring funnel. Attackers are taking advantage of weak authentication controls to walk through the front door. With over 18 years of experience in information security, Stephen brings a unique practitioner’s perspective to product development, having designed and led enterprise security programs across manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and entertainment industries.
Prior to joining Abnormal, Stephen was Senior Vice President and CISO at MGM Resorts International, where he led security operations for one of the world’s largest hospitality and entertainment companies. He previously held senior security leadership roles at Adidas, overseeing cybersecurity for North and South America, as well as LabCorp and Chobani.
