Nick Ritter is the leader of the Bank’s information security program, member of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and a key advisor to the board of directors. He brings more than 20 years of enterprise and industrial cyber security experience to his position at First Financial Bank.
Prior to joining the Bank, Nick was the Chief Product Security Officer at GE and had responsibility for the security of GE’s commercial products, supply chain, manufacturing, applications, and third parties. He was additionally responsible for attack simulations (Red Team).
He also has prior experience as a CISO, serving as one of the 3 global CISOs at a global industrial conglomerate based in Munich, Germany. There, he originated the centralized cyber defense program, built the technical security organization, and helped establish the commercial OT security practice.
While living in Germany, Nick lectured at the George C. Marshall European Center for Strategic Studies. There he taught classes on Securing Critical Infrastructure, Cyber Security Policy, and Strategic Cyber Defense. Nick also served as an advisor to NATO in the development of their cyber command training curriculum.
Nick resides in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, a suburb of Cincinnati, OH with his wife and two daughters.
