Xage Security Inc. has unveiled new capabilities for its zero-trust cybersecurity platform designed to provide enterprises with enhanced visibility and control over artificial intelligence agents, based on information published by Silicon Angle. The updated platform introduces Xage Agent Sentry and Xage Resource Gateway, which aim to secure AI agents and the resources they access at multiple levels, including network interactions, local events, and operating system calls. These components are designed to prevent compromised AI agents from taking unauthorized actions, such as exfiltrating data or damaging critical resources. The system assigns digital identities to each agent, allowing for the implementation of role, resource, and time-bound policies. It also identifies unmanaged "shadow AI" agents. This release builds upon Xage's previous Zero Trust for AI initiatives and integrations, extending coverage to SaaS applications, cloud services, on-premises systems, and the edge. The company demonstrated how its platform could block a hacked AI agent from malicious activity.Source: Silicon Angle
