VulnCheck secures $25 million Series B to enhance exploit intelligence

Cyberthreat intelligence provider VulnCheck Inc. announced it has raised $25 million in new funding to scale growth and expand its intelligence capabilities. The company, founded in 2021, offers real-time exploit and vulnerability intelligence to predict potential attack vectors, addressing the gap between published vulnerabilities and those actively weaponized in attacks, according to a recent report by Silicon Angle.

VulnCheck's platform aggregates data from vulnerability disclosures, exploit repositories, malware samples, and dark web forums. This information is normalized and enriched, then mapped to standardized identifiers like CVEs to correlate known vulnerabilities with confirmed exploit activity. Machine-readable feeds and APIs allow customers to integrate this exploit intelligence directly into their security systems, such as SIEMs and vulnerability scanners.

The system continuously updates exploit status as new activity emerges, enabling security teams to prioritize remediation based on confirmed exploit presence rather than solely on severity scores. The company reported a 557% increase in annual recurring revenue over the past 12 months.
