As reported by Silicon Angle, Trent AI Ltd., a London-based artificial intelligence security startup, has officially launched with $13 million in seed funding. The investment was led by LocalGlobe and Cambridge Innovation Capital, with participation from executives at prominent tech companies like Databricks Inc. and Stripe Inc.

Founded by former Amazon Web Services engineers, Trent AI has developed a platform designed to identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities within AI agents and their generated code. The system utilizes its own AI agents to scan for threats, aiming to surpass traditional cybersecurity tools. The platform operates with four groups of agents: one identifies exploits in code and infrastructure, a second ranks vulnerabilities by severity, a third suggests remediation steps, and the fourth monitors security changes over time.

Trent AI's technology can detect complex, chained exploits by simulating attack paths and provides specific features for tools like OpenClaw and Lovable.
