Futbol Club (FC) Barcelona is the latest high-profile entity to have its Twitter account hijacked by the Syrian Electronic Army (SEA).
On Wednesday, security blogger Graham Cluley provided screenshots of the resulting messages that were posted to the account overnight, including a message to FC Barcelona "management," to not let "Qatari money" fund its operations.
SEA has compromised a number of organizations in the past, including Forbes, which was hit just last week after hackers gained access to its WordPress admin to steal login credentials and post fake stories online.
In addition to the website posts, Twitter accounts belonging to Forbes bloggers were also taken over by the group.
