Do you want to bypass the lock screen to access contacts in Apple mobile devices running iOS 7.1.1? Just ask Siri.
In a video posted to YouTube on Sunday, user Sherif Hashim demonstrates the bypass technique on a locked iPhone 5s. Hashim first asks Siri for "contacts," but the virtual assistant replies by stating the user needs to input their passcode for access.
Hashim then asks Siri to "call," and the virtual assistant asks who should be called. On the top of the screen, Hashim types in, "Call a," and Siri brings up some contacts whose names begin with 'a.' Hashim then clicks the "other" option that appears beneath the list Siri pulled up, and has access to all contacts.
Once in, contacts can be messaged, emailed, shared, copied and edited, Hashim explained.
