In a landmark move to dominate the AI-native security market, ServiceNow has announced its acquisition of cyber exposure management firm Armis for $7.75 billion in cash, CRN reports.
This strategic purchase, set to close in late 2026, is designed to create an end-to-end security platform by merging Armis's real-time asset discovery and risk assessment with ServiceNow's automated workflow and response systems.
Company executive Amit Zavery stated the deal directly addresses growing enterprise anxiety over securing AI and connected devices, noting, "AI is creating a lot of customer concern around security."
The integration aims to provide holistic visibility and proactive remediation across IT, OT, and unmanaged devices, significantly expanding ServiceNow's addressable security market. The acquisition follows ServiceNow's recent purchase of identity security startup Veza, together forming a comprehensive suite covering exposure management and identity governance.
Armis, which recently surpassed $300 million in annual recurring revenue, brings approximately 950 employees and its market-leading technology into ServiceNow's rapidly expanding $1 billion-plus security business.
