Saviynt, 1Kosmos team up to offer automated identity assurance

Saviynt is integrating biometric verification and passwordless authentication technology from 1Kosmos into its marketplace, aiming to deliver automated identity assurance for its enterprise clients, Biometric Update reports.

The partnership makes 1Kosmos' tools available on the Saviynt Exchange, allowing customers to deploy identity verification directly from the Saviynt Identity Cloud. According to 1Kosmos CEO Hemen Vimadalal, the collaboration will help enterprises "accelerate secure onboarding, prevent identity-based fraud, and simplify compliance while giving users a seamless passwordless experience."

This integration follows closely on Saviynt's recent announcement of a $700 million Series B equity funding round, which values the company at $3 billion. The substantial investment is intended to support expansion, new product development, and the unification of key identity management domains, including identity governance, privileged access management, and identity security posture management, to streamline compliance and reduce risk.

In conjunction with these moves, Saviynt also revealed an agentic AI onboarding tool and the opening of new regional headquarters in Dubai, signaling a broader strategic push to enhance its platform and global footprint in the competitive identity security market.
