Apple on Wednesday released an update for its Safari browser. Version 4.0.2 is available for the Mac OS X and Windows operating systems. The update addresses two vulnerabilities in WebKit, which could potentially enable cross-site scripting attacks, arbitrary code execution, or cause unexpected application termination when visiting a malicious website, Apple said in its release notes. The update comes exactly one month after the release of Safari 4.0, which fixed more than 50 vulnerabilities in the browser. — AM
