Quest Software has launched a significant update to its security and migration portfolio, centering on new AI-powered features to fortify identity management in complex hybrid Microsoft environments, according to Security Brief Asia.

The enhanced Security Guardian platform now provides AI-generated summaries that pinpoint critical identity gaps and offer prioritized remediation steps, enabling faster response times for teams with varying expertise. A new Security Guardian Agent integrates with Microsoft Security Copilot to deliver vital identity context directly into platforms like Sentinel. Quest is also addressing the full modernization lifecycle with its new Identity Modernisation Suites, which offer an end-to-end platform for securely migrating from legacy on-premises Active Directory to cloud-native Entra ID.

These suites combine risk assessment, migration, and recovery tools to reduce the complexity and risk of large-scale digital transformation. Further updates strengthen data management within the erwin platform and improve migration support for the Microsoft Power Platform. According to Quest Chief Product Officer Heath Thompson, these AI-enabled capabilities provide enterprises and public sector agencies with a clear path to build secure, well-governed, and AI-ready foundations for their critical data and identity infrastructure.
