Rep. Yvette Clarke, D-N.Y., tentatively will be at the SC World Congress to discuss how state representatives are working to help the private sector to tackle today's cybersecurity threats. Clarke, a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security and Chair of the Subcommittee on Emerging Threats, Cybersecurity, Science and Technology, plans to review not only the various initiatives underway to thwart everything from identity theft to cyberterrorism, but also just how private organizations can help with her committees' information security initiatives. Her keynote is slated for Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. at the SC World Congress, which is taking place from Nov. 10 to 11 at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in New York City.
