During the second day of Pwn2Own Ireland 2026, security researchers successfully demonstrated multiple zero-day vulnerabilities across a range of devices, including printers, smartphones, and AI infrastructure. The competition saw hackers earn significant cash prizes and points towards the Master of Pwn title for their exploits, with further coverage provided by Cyber Insider.

Interrupt Labs, Zellic/V12 Security, and BoredPentester all successfully exploited Lexmark CX532adwe printers, with one demonstration famously displaying the game DOOM on the device's screen. McCaulay also compromised a Canon printer using a combination of hard-coded credentials, missing authentication, and command injection. In the mobile category, Samsung's Galaxy S26 was targeted by multiple teams, including KAIST Hacking Lab and PetoWorks, who utilized various zero-day bugs and collisions. Smart home devices were also in the crosshairs, with Home Assistant Green falling to several multi-bug exploits. AI infrastructure was not spared, as HaeJung Yang of Out of Bounds secured the largest individual payout for an exploit against Dynamo. Oracle Autonomous AI Database and Chroma were also successfully compromised. The competition highlighted the ongoing security challenges across diverse technological ecosystems.
