A 23-year-old British man appeared in a U.K. court to face charges for allegedly launching Denial of Service attacks against British Airways, two police websites and a game retailer.
Paul Dixon was arrested in October 2014 in relation to attacks that took the airlines website offline for an hour, costing the airline an estimated 100,000 Euros, and the gaming retailer site CeX between 400 and 500 Euro, the Daily Mirror reported.
He has been charged with five counts of carrying out unauthorized acts to impair the operation or access to a computer, according to the publication.
If convicted, Dixon faces up to 10 years in prison. He is scheduled to again appear in court on June 14.
