In a pact similar to the one it formed with the U.S., China has agreed to work with Germany to put an end to cyberespionage.
Germany voiced concern that the small and medium-sized business that buttress its economy don't have the skills or technology to thwart cyber attacks, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Chancellor Angela Merkel reportedly said she'd like to seal the deal quickly after meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing Thursday. Bloomberg reported that China agreed with the sentiments of its largest trade partner in Europe. The Asian state has consistently denied that it is involved with cyber attacks. In addition to its recent agreement with the U.S., China has a deal with the U.K. to battle cyberespionage.
