As detailed in Tech Radar, ExpressVPN, a well-known provider of virtual private network services, has launched a new standalone password manager application named ExpressKeys. This new app aims to enhance user security by offering a dedicated platform for managing digital credentials.

ExpressKeys, previously integrated within the ExpressVPN app, is now available as a standalone application for iOS and Android devices, as well as a web browser extension. The app allows users to securely store login credentials, credit card information, and secure notes. Additionally, ExpressKeys functions as a two-factor authenticator (2FA), providing an extra layer of security. Key features include a robust password generator, biometric unlocking for app access, analysis of stored passwords for weaknesses or reuse, and dark web scanning for leaked credentials. The application can operate offline and supports easy import from other password managers, with 24/7 live chat support available.

Users of existing ExpressVPN plans that include the password manager will have until March 5, 2026, to transition to the standalone ExpressKeys app before the feature is deprecated.
