The Cyberintelligence Institute (CII) has launched a new smartphone application called Cyber Risk Observation Service (CYROS) designed to alert users about escalating cyber threats, including ransomware attacks, phishing, and digital sabotage, based on information published by CSO Online.

The CYROS app aggregates security-related information from official warnings, including those from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), consumer protection organizations, and security companies. It will also incorporate data from Datagroup's Security Operations Centers in the future. To enhance usability, CYROS categorizes alerts by topic, life area, and federal state, providing specific information and guidance. This aims to make crucial support more accessible during cyber incidents.

The app, available for free on major app stores and online at cyros-warnapp.de, aims to empower individuals and organizations to take concrete action against cyber threats.
