Coca-Cola’s Fairlife dairy subsidiary hit by ransomware attack, suspending US production

The Coca-Cola Company has disclosed that a ransomware attack has impacted its Fairlife dairy subsidiary, leading to a temporary suspension of production across its United States facilities, according to a recent report by Bleeping Computer.

Fairlife detected unauthorized access to its production systems, initiating incident response protocols. While product quality and safety remain unaffected, operations at all U.S. facilities have been halted as the company works to restore impacted systems. Canadian operations are not currently affected. The full extent of the incident, including whether any data was exfiltrated or if an extortion demand has been made, is still under investigation.

No ransomware group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. This incident highlights the ongoing threat of ransomware to major corporations and their supply chains.
