Black Hat USA, scheduled to take place in Las Vegas from August 1 through 6, has announced its first briefing selections from its largest pool of submissions yet from security experts, organizers said.
Details for five sessions to be presented at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center were revealed in a Thursday release. The talks will be on the following topics: analyzing the security of Windows 10, vulnerabilities in automobiles, the state of border gateway protocol (BGP) security, and manipulation of industrial control systems.
A briefing on “winning the online banking war,” will also demonstrate a “ novel method derived from Zero Knowledge Protocol that prevents banking malware from reverse engineering secrets transmitted between an online banking client and its server by eavesdropping on HTTPS traffic,” the Black Hat release said.
