News about Apple's iOS 8 release has already been dominated by the discovery of various bugs, and now there's one more issue to add to the list.
Users are reporting that a bug in the operating system's ‘Reset All Settings' option is deleting documents from their iCloud Drive, possibly forever, according to The Mac Security Blog.
MacRumors forum users said the bug was affecting documents from iWork apps, and in once case, a user's iWork documents were deleted while his other data files remained.
MacRumors performed its own test and found that the reset option deleted all iWork documents stored in iCloud Drive on the iPhone and on iCloud.com. When a device was then allowed to sync with a Mac running OS X Yosemite, the documents disappeared from that machine, too.
