Adobe released a much-anticipated patch for a critical vulnerability in Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9. The vulnerability could cause a crash that would enable an attacker to take control of an affected system. Adobe said that the issue is being exploited. Adobe plans to release updates for Adobe Reader and Acrobat 7 and 8 by March 18. -- CAM
