Adobe issues third update for April

Every day is Patch Tuesday for Adobe as the software company today issued an update for its Analytics AppMeasurement for Flash Library, it's the third this month.

Adobe security bulletin APSB16-13 will patch a vulnerability (CVE-2016-1036), rated important, that abused to conduct Document Object Module-based cross-site scripting attacks only when debugTracking is enabled, the company said in its update. The impact version is 4.0 and earlier.

“Adobe recommends Analytics customers using the AppMeasurement for Flash library rebuild projects with the updated library available for download from the Analytics Console,” the company said.

AppMeasurement for Flash Library allows video viewing activity to be captured and forwards that data to the Adobe data collection servers where it is available for use by Marketing Cloud services, including Analytics reports.

Adobe this month already issued patches to Flash Player and Creative Cloud.
