Abstract Security launches AI-native SIEM architecture

Abstract Security Inc. has announced the launch of its AI-Gen Composable SIEM, a new architectural standard for modern security operations designed natively for artificial intelligence and streaming data, as reported by Silicon Angle.

The AI-Gen Composable SIEM addresses the challenges faced by traditional Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms due to escalating data volumes, which are growing between 25% and 30% annually. This new architecture replaces monolithic SIEMs with a modular, streaming-first model where various components like ingestion, pipelines, storage, detection, AI triage, and response function as independent building blocks.

This system-of-systems approach allows organizations to decouple data sources and destinations, avoid vendor lock-in, perform in-stream detections for near real-time threat response, and intelligently route data to reduce storage costs. It enables enterprises to select their preferred architecture, deployment model, and analytics engines without compromising performance or control, while also allowing for elastic scaling across multicloud and hybrid environments. Early customer testing of AI-Gen Composable SIEM has shown significant results, with reported cost reductions of 65% to 75% and improvements in mean time to detect and respond.
